Measure PD on your own or follow these 3 simple steps:
1. Look in the mirror and line up a ruler between your eyes.
2. Make sure the ruler is lined exactly underneath the middle of the left pupil.
3. Measure the exact distance between your left pupil and your right pupil in millimeters.
Great question! Your PD (pupillary distance) measures the distance from the center of one pupil to the other pupil in millimeters.
This measurement helps produce properly focused lenses for the most accurate vision. PD ensures that you’re looking through the optical center.
If you don’t know your PD, we’ll use the average PD which is 62 mm. It’s the most common measurement and it fits all.
